Our online shop was born around the same time as our second son, Rudy and is continually inspired by him and his older brother Hugo, who has pronounced his name as "Dodo" from a very young age.
As a serious shopaholic in days gone by (ie pre-baby) I was constantly frustrated by a lack of childfree shopping time and energy when searching for fabulous goodies for my own children and gifts for family and friends. With so many friends baby booming at once, it seems there is always a new arrival, a baby shower or a birthday party around the corner.
Our ever expanding range of products offers a mixture of both handpicked and handcrafted products, which have an individual and quirky edge.
Rudy and the Dodo is also THE place to shop for those of you without your own little ones in tow. The world of kids products can be quite overwhelming if you haven't navigated it before. For that reason, we even offer a personal shopping and/or advice service to help guide you to the best available goodies for the little people in your life. Simply email julia@rudyandthedodo.com.au with age, sex and likes (if known) of the little person you are buying for and we'll send you our suggestions (dont forget to tell us your budget).
Our goodies are also itemised by age suitability to help you along.
